quisp home
There are three ways I imagine QUISP being searched: by date, by tag, or by random browsing.
The date metadata is in the "C" column of the spreadsheet. You can organize the entire dataset by recency if you click the downfacing arrow on the righthand side of the "C" column label. Organizing it A -> Z will arrange the data with the earliest article first, organizing it Z -> A will arrange the data with the most recent article first. This will create a temporary filter view.
If you are looking for a specific date or year, you can do this by clicking the filter symbol on the top left of the sheet (a downfacing triangle on a stick, like a funnel), and then clicking "Create new temporary filter view". From this view, you can click the downfacing arrow on the C1 cell next to the word "DATE". This should open a set of filter tools. If you click "Filter by condition...", you have the option of doing a "Text contains" search and entering a year (e.g. 2003) to get every article from that year, or an exact date if you know it (12/4/2003), to get everything from that issue. You can also do a "Date is", "Date is before", or "Date is after" search to find all of the articles on, before, or after a given date (duh). I can't figure out how to do a date range but I'm sure it's possible somehow!
The tag metadata is in the "D" column of the spreadsheet. It's not perfect, but the tags in each cell should be roughly alphabetical. If you are looking for a specific tag, you can do this by clicking the filter symbol on the top left of the sheet (a downfacing triangle on a stick, like a funnel), and then clicking "Create new temporary filter view". From this view, you can click the downfacing arrow on the D1 cell next to the word "TAGS". This should open a set of filter tools. If you click "Filter by condition...", you have the option of doing a "Text contains" search and entering a tag to find all articles with that tag. I can't figure out how to search for multiple tags, but again, I'm sure it's possible!
The list of tags I used is:
